Commercial and lifestyle director, DP, photographer, and fellow Colorado based creative Adam Bove joins the show to talk about how a kid growing up in Cincinnati with an early love of climbing and dreams of road trips out west, ended up suffering through several day jobs before finally taking the steps it took to go out and chase his dreams of creating beautiful visual content for a living. He's since gone on to work with sought after brands across the country on both the video and still photo side, and works closely with his wife and creative partner and their company A Collective US to cover all bases of visual content creation. During our conversation Adam tells me about road trips with his Dad that gave him an early love of adventure and photographic story telling, how he fell in love with climbing and how that led him to Thailand and a stint at trying to make it as a climbing photographer, the string of jobs that kept him from pursuing his true calling, and the advice he gives to others out there chasing their own dreams.

Photographer, Director, and DP Gabriel L'Heureux joins the podcast to talk about how he went from a kid growing up in DC making skateboard videos with his friends, to getting his foot in the door of the ski and snowboard industry as a filmmaker with companies like Matchstick Productions and Mack Dawg, to finally getting the opportunity to work with Burton where he fell in love with the still image and got the chance to start shooting advertising lifestyle campaigns with some of the biggest names in the sport and create a look that would transcend snowboard advertising and help him evolve as an overall creative. During our conversation we talk about his long time relationship with Burton and some of the amazing shoots he has been able to be a part of, what made him switch his focus from shooting 16mm film work to still photography and how that has come full circle in the days of photographers needing to produce all forms of visual content, some of the new projects he has worked on and the creative personal shoots he chased during Covid, and the advice he gives to those following their own artistic endeavors.
