Artist, commercial director, filmmaker, and all around American stuffmaker Mac Premo joins the podcast to talk about how a kid growing up in DC with a love of skateboarding and punk rock ended up studying at RISD, moving to New York, and creating the amazing and diverse body of work he is known for today. From carpentry work, to stop animation, to Ford truck commercials, to gallery walls, Mac has done a bit of everything and managed to achieve a level of success as a diverse artist that has allowed him to keep his curiosity alive and well and avoid the burnout that can sometimes be common in the more individual creative pursuits. During our conversation Mac talks about his own evolution as an artist through many attempts and failures at finding his voice, how his willingness to be vulnerable has helped him create such a large variety of work, the inspiration he gets everyday from his wife and children, and the advice he gives to others on their own creative journey.

Commercial photographer/director Jon Enoch joins the podcast from his London studio to talk about how deciding to enter a competition to travel the world while he was still in college would completely change the course of his life, and take a kid from a small rural town in the UK studying geography and set him out on a journey that would introduce photography and visual storytelling to his life and give him a sense of purpose he never knew existed. During our conversation Jon talks about his three different phases of his photography career thus far. From his early days of the hustle and bustle of working as a photojournalists for a respected London newspaper, to making the shift towards magazine editorial work, to slowly transitioning into the career he's known for now, helping to visualize and shoot advertising campaigns for some of the biggest companies in the world. We also discuss how a decision to pursue a personal project in Hanoi would end up bringing him a whole other level of recognition and success and provide him with the creative fulfillment he was missing in the commercial space, how he stays organized and motivated to keep creating, where he draws the most inspiration, and the advice he gives to others.
